We read a conversation with Kristi Nelson called Ten True Things About Gratefulness, Here is part of #5, for example:

5. Expressing gratefulness can change your relationships
Gratefulness has the potential to transform your intimate relationships with a partner, friends, or family members, and can shift a casual or even a difficult relationship with a colleague or acquaintance.

We worked with 5 of the 10, so we'll continue this week. As a group, we talked about how a deep gratefulness doesn't depend on circumstances, whether gratitude and gratefulness are really different, how noticing what we take for granted can be starting point for gratitude - or a way to get all into circumstances again!

We also looked into vulnerability is a key part of gratefulness, and how being vulnerable is not something our society is generally comfortable with.
