The Way of Shambhala, Part I(b)

We watched part of a talk given by senior Shambhala teacher Adam Lobel. The talk examines how we might learn to relate differently to our life:

And we can have that sense of awareness and openness, even as we're scrubbing the dishes, even as we're driving the car...it is possible to wake up, is it possible for our own life to meet with a kind of intensity and presence. It's possible for any human being, without question.

We also talked about Acharya Lobel's upcoming (and much anticipated) Sparking Wisdom event in Toronto this April.

Sparking Wisdom Event

The Great Lakes Shambhala region is extremely happy to be bringing Adam Lobel to Toronto from April 20-23. As the head of practice and study for the entire Shambhala Buddhist tradition, he is skilled at bringing the essence of ancient teachings into everyday life -- how can we bring a peaceful and insightful mind to our jobs, families and communities?
