This program is for those interested in facilitating discussions in a meditation setting. What we learn, however, can apply in many other areas of our life. We may be called on to facilitate informally, for example, at home or among friends. Or perhaps a more formal need comes up at work or in a community organization.
The Facilitating Effectively and Kindly workshop will feature talks, discussions with the whole group and in smaller breakout groups, and practice facilitation sessions. We'll explore questions like these:
How do we help people feel heard and hear others more clearly?
How do we handle challenging groups with people who are
How do we, as facilitators, work with our own self-consciousness and fear of embarrassment?

We wish to offer these trainings as widely as possible, so there is no set fee to attend. You are, of course, always welcome to make a donation to Community Meditation.
